Greetings friends of Canadian passenger rail,

Back in 2022, you were all kind enough to take a minute out of your day to sign my Change.org petition when news broke that the Government of Canada was seeking requests of proposal from private business, for the construction and eventual control of Via Rail's High Frequency Rail (HFR) initiative in the Windsor-Montreal "corridor".  

Here we are 2 years later and Via Rail Canada & the Canadian government still ignore the voice of the people as they continue forward with their plan to privatize the corridor.  

I'm hoping you would be kind enough, once again, to take a minute or two out of your day and sign this House of Commons petition initiated by Terrence Johnson, president of Transport action Canada, a group that is working tirelessly to save what we have left of our once great passenger rail system. Time is of the essence as this important petition closes on April 7, 2024 at 3:20pm Eastern time.

Without your voice, the Government of Canada has a hard time hearing so I encourage you all to sign this petition!!
