We are devastated by yesterday's killing of a cyclist in East Vancouver.

There is not much clear information about what exactly happened in the media yet.

While thoughts, prayers, and meditations are important for our own and the community's grieving and healing, action is where change is made.

Our petition is addressed to Lon LaClaire, he is the General Manager of Engineering Services for the City of Vancouver. He had no hand in what happened yesterday, BUT he does have the power and responsibility  to make our roads safer.

Let's turn our ANGER and GRIEF into LOVE for each other please consider writing a kind, thoughtful note directly to him asking for action: lon.laclaire@vancouver.ca
