VICTORY!!! HUGE victory yesterday!!! The Canadian Senate Fisheries Committee voted to move forward with Bill S-203 to ban keeping whales and dolphins performing at the Vancouver Aquarium and Marineland. However, the fight is far from over. The aquarium industry is lobbying hard against the bill, and they have come close to killing the bill several times. Thanks to 4000+ signatures on our petitions, and all your emails, phone calls, and social media shares, we saved it from defeat and cleared a major hurdle yesterday. Whale of a job, guys!
