We now have 651 online signatures and another 536 from supporters who signed the paper version, for a total of 536!

If you would like to question candidates for Park Board on their support for funding Mount Pleasant Pool (or any other Parks & Recreation issue), there is an all-candidates meeting tonight September 23 at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre at #1 Kingsway (at Main St.). The meeting will be held in the gymnasium on the ground floor. There will an informal "meet & greet" for the public to mingle with the candidates, starting at 6:30 pm, followed by a moderated meeting in Question & Answer format, where members of the audience will be able to ask the aspiring Parks Commissioners questions about their platform. Coffee & tea will be available to sustain us as we consider our choices for the election on October 15!
