It looks like city council just passed a motion to discuss slowing down Commercial Drive. It is unfortunate that they only included the stretch of road from Venables to Broadway. They have prioritized the needs of the businesses on the Drive, and neglected the safety of the children who go to school on the Drive. However, it is still good news to see that they are considering slowing down the Drive. I spoke to Councillors Dominato and De Genova today, and asked that the 3000 block of Commercial Drive be included in this motion. They seemed agreeable. Let's see what happens.
