Valve, Please Fix the TI 2026 Fantasy Leaderboard and Restore Lost Terrain Tokens
To Valve and the Dota 2 Team,

We are asking Valve to investigate and correct the results of the TI 2026 Fantasy competition before the final rewards are permanently settled.

The Terrain Token gave players a chance to choose one of several returning Dota 2 terrains, including the highly sought-after Immortal Gardens. For many long-time players, this was the main reason they participated in Fantasy this year.

However, throughout the event, players have reported serious concerns about the Fantasy leaderboard.

These reports include:

Suspicious accounts with extremely low or zero match history appearing in the rankings;
Significant and unexplained percentile drops;
Possible irregularities in Fantasy scoring and leaderboard updates;
Legitimate players losing eligibility for the Terrain Token despite maintaining their own Fantasy performance.
We understand that an account with few matches is not automatically a bot or fraudulent account. We are therefore not asking Valve to remove players based solely on their account statistics.

We are asking Valve to investigate the leaderboard and determine whether confirmed bots, abusive accounts, exploits, or technical problems affected legitimate players' rankings.

What we are asking Valve to do
1. Audit the TI 2026 Fantasy leaderboard.

Review the accounts and scoring data that determined the final percentile rankings.

2. Investigate suspicious and abusive activity.

Identify accounts that violated the rules or artificially affected the Fantasy ranking.

3. Recalculate affected rankings.

Remove confirmed fraudulent or abusive accounts from the calculation and recalculate the percentiles of legitimate players.

4. Restore the rewards players legitimately earned.

If the corrected rankings make a player eligible for the Terrain Token, that player should receive the token.

5. Provide a fair solution where the original ranking cannot be reliably reconstructed.

If Valve cannot accurately determine which players were affected, Valve should consider providing the Terrain Token to players who can demonstrate that their ranking was materially affected.

This is not a request for free cosmetics
We are not asking Valve to give Immortal Gardens to everyone.

We are asking Valve to ensure that players who legitimately earned the required ranking are not denied their reward because the leaderboard was affected by accounts or technical problems outside their control.

Players participated in the Fantasy competition in good faith under the expectation that their performance would be compared against a legitimate player pool.

If that player pool was compromised, legitimate participants should not bear the consequences.

Why Immortal Gardens matters
Immortal Gardens is one of the most iconic Dota 2 terrains and has been unavailable to most players for years.

For many players, the possibility of finally obtaining it was a major incentive to participate in TI 2026 Fantasy.

That makes the integrity of the ranking especially important.

Players invested their time and participated according to the rules.

They should receive the rewards they actually earned.

Our request
We respectfully ask Valve to:

Audit the TI 2026 Fantasy leaderboard.
Investigate reported irregularities.
Remove confirmed abusive accounts from the calculation.
Recalculate affected percentiles.
Restore Terrain Tokens to players who become eligible after the correction.

Valve has the data necessary to determine what happened.

We are simply asking Valve to use that data and make the final results fair.

Fair competition requires a fair leaderboard.

Please investigate TI 2026 Fantasy and make sure legitimate players receive the rewards they earned.
