I would like to see VA Governor Ralph Northam expand on his executive order allowing for the sale of Beer and Wine ToGo by restaurants. I would like the Governor to adopt a similar policy to that of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, to also allow for restaurants to sell Mixed Beverages/Spirits for ToGo & Delivery.

Allowing for this change would improve restaurant sales, give local restaurants the ability retain their employees during this time, and allow our loyal patrons to enjoy our food and beverages while social distancing and staying at home.

Local restaurants & their employees are facing some of the hardest times known to them during this current pandemic. I strongly believe this change would benefit millions of at home Virginians by allowing them some semblance of normalcy and improving quality of life during these very trying times. This is one of many ways to enable local restaurants to help generate more revenue allowing them to employ more people longer.
