The election will be held in October 2020, but the voting commitments by nations begins now.
Russia's declaration in defense of its candidacy is a big lie, as exposed here by UN Watch.
We need the U.S. and the EU to lead the fight against this absurd candidacy, and to remind the world that the Putin regime tramples human rights.
At home Putin's regime persecutes dissidents, journalists, and gays. Abroad they invaded Ukraine, swallowed Crimea, and are pulverizing men, women and children in Syria.
Freedom-loving countries need to vote NO to Vladimir Putin as a world judge of human rights.
