Hi Everyone, Thank you to all of you who helped with contacting your Representative in Congress! We ended up with 38 members of Congress signing onto the letter, and at least 10 were because of petition signers who contacted their Representative! Matt Zeller, CEO and co-founder of No One Left Behind, called Congress's letter a “profound” level of support for this case and says he is hopeful this will make a difference in getting the case re-considered.

The Ithaca Voice published a new story recently, which includes a link to Congress's letter if you wish to read it. USCIS's deadline to respond to Congress's letter was yesterday, but they have so far failed to answer Congress on why the case was denied.

Also, since Muhammad was robbed of his life's savings by the Pakistani military a couple of years ago, my family and I have been financially supporting Muhammad and his family for the last 18 months and have spent over $45,000 on living expenses, medical bills, and USCIS's filing fees.
