In its latest attack on Palestinian human rights, the Israeli military has designated multiple Palestinian human rights organizations “terrorists.”
Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have laid bare their condemnation of Israel’s designation in a joint statement.
The designation of human rights activists and groups as “terrorists” is characteristic of dictatorships and should be condemned across the world.
But condemnation isn’t enough. Support the six Palestinian human rights organizations under attack. Al Jazeera reports the wrongfully designated organizations include “Al-Haq, a human rights group founded in 1979, the Addameer rights group, Defence for Children International-Palestine, the Bisan Center for Research and Development, the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees and the Union of Agricultural Work Committees.”
