The 260-acre Nature Center directly north of Miller Springs Park, was formally created on Oct. 26, 1993 after devastating flooding in 1991 and 1992.

It was announced Thursday, August 24th, that the Miller Springs Alliance is surrendering its lease back to the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the Army Corps is closing the park as a result.

This petition is to show the importance of the park and the enjoyment and benefit it provides to the members of the community. 

Please sign to show your support for this landmark of Bell County, and to implore the Ft Worth Division of the United States Army Corps of Engineers to keep the preserve open.
