Detained members of Ahmadi Religion threatened with deportation by Turkish police despite appeal

In a recent leaked testimony, Mirjalal Aliyev, one of our detained members from Azerbaijan, has shed light on the current situation they are facing. According to Mirjalal, the group is being continuously threatened with deportation, with detention officers telling them that they will deport them in any case, even though an appeal against deportation orders is currently being reviewed by the court. They have been informed that they will not be released from the deportation center and are slated for direct deportation to their respective countries.

However, our detained members have expressed deep concerns regarding their return to their home country, as deporting them exposes them to certain executions or imprisonment in their countries of origin.

The leaked testimony further highlights the plight of these individuals, as they remain caught between forced deportation and being held in dire circumstances in detention. Their need for asylum in safe lands to practice their faith freely continues to be of utmost importance, as they seek assistance and support in navigating this difficult situation.
