The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light condemns the inhumane and deplorable conditions its members continue to be held in in the Edirne Deportation Center.  
 
We received shocking news this morning that one of our female members from Azerbaijan, Arzu 26, was left in a critical condition between life and death, after suffering a psychotic shock and fainting. 
Arzu had reported being sick in the morning and asked to see a doctor, yet nobody came. In the evening, other female members of the faith who were with her reported that she went into a seizure and then fell unconscious.

Youssra Bezai, an Algerian member of the faith who is a doctor says: “Her eyes rolled backward and she started to shiver and her mouth closed, and she was in a different world, she wanted to vomit, I knew she had a drop in her sugar levels, and her blood pressure was rising and her pulse drops from 60 and then rises to 300. It was a very dangerous condition similar to death.” 
 
Youssra explains how appropriate medical care was denied to Arzu and that they had to scream for an ambulance doctor to come: 
 
“We told them to get us a sphygmomanometer but they didn’t come for an entire hour, until we started screaming and saying: “Come the woman is dying, the woman is dying!” 
They came with cigarettes and chewing gum. I told them she has a drop in the sugar levels, they didn’t bring sugar, they said there is no sugar, there is no doctor.”  
 
The detention administration who finally came put Arzu in a wheelchair under the sun for two hours until she collapsed and injured her leg before they finally called an ambulance for her. 
 
The cases of medical neglect has spiked sharply over the past couple of days, ever since the two UK journalists were released. Members reported that at least four members are in critical condition including two children from Thailand aged 4 years and 5 years, who haven’t been eating properly for the past 4 days and have lost weight drastically.  
Detained members reported that another 8-year old Algerian child who suffers from digestion issues is suffering from abnormal swelling and bloating in his stomach for not receiving adequate nutrition for his medical condition. 
 
Other members of the faith reported water supply being deliberately cut from their section, as a pressure measure to get the detainees to sign papers consenting to their deportation. This is the second time that such illegal and abhorrent practices are carried out against the group, even after the group’s lawyer intervened the first time and the water supply was reinstated. 
 
Our members from Iran also reported that they were put with fundamentalist groups and ISIS members and other terrorist groups in the same cell, exposing the group, a persecuted religious minority, to risk of violence and persecution.

The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light calls for the immediate release of its members from the Edirne deportation center, while awaiting the court’s decision on the appeal of the deportaton orders.

يدين دين السلام والنور الأحمدي الظروف الغير إنسانية والمفجعة التي لا يزال أعضاؤه محتجزين فيها في مركز الترحيل بأدرنة. 
 
تلقينا هذا الصباح نبأ صادم أن إحدى عضواتنا من أذربيجان، أرزو، البالغة من العمر ٢٦ عامًا تُركت في حالة حرجة بين الحياة والموت، بعد إصابتها بنوبة ذهانية وإغماء. 
كانت أرزو قد أبلغت عن مرضها في الصباح وطلبت مقابلة طبيب، ومع ذلك لم يأت أحد. في المساء، أفادت عضوات أخريات من المؤمنات كن معها بأنها تعرضت لنوبة وتشنجات ثم فقدت الوعي. 
 
قالت يسرا بزاي، طبيبة جزائرية وهي أحدى أعضاء الديانة المحتجزات: "عينها انقلبت ، وبدأت ترتجف وفمها إنقفل، وكأنها في غير عالم، وكانت تريد أن تتقيأ، عرفت أن عندها هبوط في السكر، وضغط دمها يرتفع ، نبضها ينخفض إلى 60 ثم يرتفع إلى 300. كانت حالة خطيرة للغاية تشبه الموت ".
 
تشرح يسرا كيف حُرمت أرزو من الرعاية الطبية المناسبة واضطروا للصراخ حتى يأتي طبيب الإسعاف: 
 
"قلنا لهم ليحضروا لنا جهاز قياس ضغط الدم لكنهم لم يأتوا لمدة ساعة كاملة حتى بدأنا بالصراخ ونقول: تعالوا المرأة تموت المرأة تموت!" جاؤوا وهم يدخنون السجائر ويمضغون العلكة، أخبرتهم أنها تعاني من انخفاض في مستويات السكر ولم يحضروا السكر، قالوا لا يوجد سكر، ولا يوجد طبيب". 
 
جاءت الإدارة في مركز الحجز ووضعوا أرزو على كرسي متحرك تحت أشعة الشمس لمدة ساعتين حتى سقطت وأصيبت بجرح في ساقها قبل أن يستدعوا أخيرًا سيارة إسعاف لها. 
 
أفاد أعضاء آخرون في الديانة أنه تم قطع إمدادات المياه عمداً من قسمهم، كإجراء ضغط لحمل المعتقلين على توقيع أوراق بالموافقة على ترحيلهم. هذه هي المرة الثانية التي يتم فيها تنفيذ مثل هذه الممارسات الغير قانونية والمقيتة ضد المجموعة، حتى بعد تدخل محامي المجموعة في المرة الأولى وعودة إمدادات المياه. 
 
ذكر أعضاؤنا من إيران أيضًا أنهم وُضعوا مع جماعات متطرفة وأعضاء من داعش وجماعات إرهابية أخرى في نفس الزنزانة، مما يعرض المجموعة، وهي أقلية دينية مضطهدة ، لخطر العنف والاضطهاد. 
 
 
يدعو دين السلام والنور الأحمدي إلى الإفراج الفوري عن أعضائه من مركز الترحيل في أدرنة أثناء انتظار قرار المحكمة بشأن استئناف أوامر الترحيل.
