Thank you all for supporting this petition to provide road access to Topanga families with schoolchildren and resident commuters during the Palisades Fire road closures.
Thanks to you adding your voice to this issue and 'round the clock efforts by the Topanga Town Council, we were granted relief during the road closures in the form of schoolbus access on TCB and Tuna Canyon road access for parents and caregivers driving their children to school. These concessions were huge wins for Topanga families who had been spending hours shuttling their kids to and from school across the West Side since January.
While we were unable to inspire Caltrans to provide a clear timeline for reopening, as many of you already know PCH, TCB, and Tuna Canyon Rd. are now open. The TCB reopening rules are seemingly fluid. Please see TCEP for current updates:
