Thank you for your continued support of this petition for Topanga Canyon road access! This letter and your signatures were forwarded to Governor Newsom's office by the Topanga Town Council on April 10th. 

On April 12th, Gov. Newsom announced the reopening of PCH by end of May. See the press release here. 

Now we need Gov. Newsom to help us get the reopening of Topanga Canyon Blvd. on the same schedule. Please contact Gov. Newsom with your 'Open Topanga' message here.

On April 10th, we sent a we sent a letter to Governor Newsom and copied the relevant elected officials and agencies to make our case for enhanced sharing of critical roads, compensation for those impacted by these closures, and a seat at the table for any extended road closures now and in the future. Decisions that are made for our community must be made with our community.

A special shout-out to our school parents for working so diligently to press the case for more access to our roads. The following letter and petition (which garnered over 1,000 local signatures verified by Change.org). See here. This letter was also sent to the Governor’s Office as well as Los Angeles County. 

Finally, we have made a series of PRA and FOIA requests so that community members can have complete information about what is happening on our roads and why. We can all draw more accurate conclusions and make better decisions with full information.
