We, the undersigned, respectfully request the immediate and coordinated assistance of the Governor and Attorney General of Texas and the Governor and Attorney General of Alaska in the urgent missing person case of HARI KARASANI who traveled from Houston, Texas, to Alaska and has been missing since December 31st, 2025.
Hari was last known to be staying at Aurora Denali Lodge in Healy, Alaska, and all contact has ceased since that date. Despite ongoing concern from family, friends, and community members, Hari’s whereabouts remain unknown. Each passing day increases the risk to his safety and reduces the chances of a successful resolution.
The Alaska State Troopers are actively assisting with the investigation under Missing Person Case Number: AK260000654. While we are grateful for their efforts, extreme weather conditions, vast and remote terrain, interstate nature of the case, and the length of time Hari has been missing, expanded, coordinated support at the highest state levels.
We respectfully urge:
The Governor of Alaska and Alaska Attorney General
To prioritize this case and allocate additional state resources and continued
prioritization of this case.
To support expanded search, investigative, and inter-agency coordination
The Governor of Texas and Texas Attorney General
To formally coordinate with Alaska authorities
To provide interstate investigative support and advocacy on behalf of a Texas resident
