Urgent Request for 500+ F-1 VISA applicants denied slot due to portal Technical Glitch
The Issue
Urgent Request for Special Visa Slot Allocation for 500+ F1 Applicants Affected by Technical Glitch on USVISASCHEDULING Website
Dear USA VISA CONSULATE GENERAL INDIA,
We, the undersigned, urgently seek your assistance regarding a critical issue affecting 500+ F1 visa applicants from India. Due to a recent technical glitch on the USVISASCHEDULING website, we were unable to secure visa appointment slots on two occasions: May 5 and May 16/17. This technical issue has severely impacted our ability to proceed with our academic plans in the United States. (Please note that most of us are offered/ refused B1/ B2 VISA after July 2023 and think that this maybe one of the reasons for the issue).
To support our claim, we have attached screenshots and videos that demonstrate the technical issues encountered during the booking process. Additionally, we have included an Excel sheet containing the names, email addresses, and login usernames of all affected applicants.
We kindly request that special visa appointment slots be allocated to rectify this situation and ensure that our educational journeys are not disrupted.
Sincerely,
Darsh Golechha
