We’ve got some brilliant progress to share on Garfits Lane.
Thanks to your support, we’ve now raised £775 towards repairs to the lane leading to Garfits Park. Every donation is going directly towards materials and fair payment for our neighbour Luc, who has kindly offered to do 1–2 days of skilled work to fix the worst sections of the road.
Even better, neighbours are now actively involved. I’ve just emailed residents asking for a couple of sentences about how the lane affects them and why this repair matters. Those quotes will be shared with a local newspaper that wants to cover our community campaign, which should help us reach even more people who use Garfits Lane and care about safe access to the park.
We’re still working towards a £2,000 target so we can do the job properly, once, without more years of patching and hoping. If you signed the petition but haven’t donated yet, even £5 or £10 would make a real difference. And if you can share the GoFundMe link with friends, neighbours, dog walkers, or local groups, that support goes a long way.

Thank you again for standing with us. Together, we’re proving that when the council won’t fix it, neighbours can.
