Thank you to the 294 people who signed our petition calling for Garfits Lane repairs. Your support showed just how much this matters to our community.
Here's the progress: While the council still won't help because Garfits Lane is technically a private road, we've found a solution. Our neighbour Luc from number 26 has the skills to do the work and has offered to do it at a reasonable cost – far less than hiring a commercial contractor.
We need your help one more time. We've launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for materials (cold tarmac, adhesive, supplies) and fair payment for Luc's skilled labour. Every pound goes directly to fixing the lane – nothing else.
Your signature showed you care. Now a small donation can turn that support into action.

Even £5 or £10 makes a real difference. If all 294 petition supporters contribute just £10, we'd have nearly £3,000 – likely enough to complete the work.
This is what community looks like. We raised our voices together. Now let's fix this road together.
Thank you for standing with us.
