
Firstly, thank you for your support. I am pleased to share that action has now been taken, with a formal submission to the NHMRC under the public submissions call to Targeted Research Priorities.
The portal process was challenging due to strict word and character limits, so my full hypothesis could not be detailed in the online submission. To ensure the proposal was fully captured, the complete document has also been emailed directly to the NHMRC office.

This is an important step forward, with the proposal highlighting the need to recognise Group A Streptococcus (Strep A) as a chronic disease driver and to improve guidelines and health system responses for the benefit of all Australians.
