We, concerned citizens and animal lovers of Nepal, urgently call upon the Government of Nepal to take decisive action to address the plight of stray and abandoned dogs across the country.

Issue: 

Every day, countless stray dogs suffer from hunger, injury, and cruelty, often with no access to proper care or shelter. Despite the increasing population of stray animals, there is a severe lack of government-supported shelter homes and humane management programs. This situation not only causes immense suffering for the animals but also poses health and safety risks to our communities.

What We Demand:

- The establishment of government-funded shelter homes and rescue facilities in every district and municipality.  
- Adequate resources allocated for the maintenance and operation of these shelter homes.  
- Implementation of humane stray animal management programs that focus on rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption.  
- Strict enforcement of laws against animal cruelty and abandonment.  
- Public awareness campaigns to promote responsible pet ownership and kindness towards animals.
