Urgent: Justice for K9 Indy and Officer Crano

Urgent: Justice for K9 Indy and Officer Crano
The Issue
Attention all K9 Handlers, Officers, friends and fellow dog lovers: please help us keep K9 Indy in the care of her family!!
K9 Indy’s Handler, Investigator Crano has made the decision to leave her long time position as an officer with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children task force. This decision was not made lightly and was based on extenuating family and personal considerations.
Officer Crano has spent 13 years apprehending pedophiles, saving countless children’s lives and also protecting children from further sexual exploitation.
Upon rendering her resignation, Officer Crano offered to pay the full purchase of $15,000 to keep K9 Indy with her family and also keep the agency from having to incur undue financial burden. The agency denied her request.
Officer Crano has continued to plead with agency and county officials, but her attempts have fallen on deaf ears and leadership continues to refuse to even have a conversation.
K9 Indy will be removed from Officer Crano’s home November 1, 2024.
K9 Indy has thrived in the care of Officer Crano, is bonded to her husband and her children and is a member of their family. To make matters worse, K9 Indy suffers from extreme separation anxiety and her removal is unwarranted and cruel.
Please help us fight to allow K9 Indy to remain with her family!
