Dear Supporters,
Despite 1,314 of us signing this petition and nearly 3,000 residents raising concerns, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) does not want to allow us to debate the serious safety risks on Frant Road and surrounding streets at the full council meeting on 26th February in a fair and democratic way.
This is unacceptable. Our voices must be heard. The dangerous traffic conditions, lack of proper infrastructure, and overall threat to public safety and quality of life cannot be ignored. And it’s about to get even worse.
🚨 The new proposed development up the road in Frant by Esquire Development will only add to the chaos. This planned development sits on the border of Sussex and Kent, so Wealden will collect the tax revenue while Tunbridge Wells suffers from the increased traffic and safety risks. More cars, more congestion, more danger.
Just this Monday, there was yet another accident at Forrest and Birling Roads, with bits of car strewn across the street. How many more accidents need to happen before TWBC takes action?
📢 Please take action now! Email:

Demand that the Frant Road Safety Coalition is given the right to speak at the full council meeting. Our elected representatives must listen to the people they serve!

The more emails and signatures we get, the harder it will be for them to ignore us. Let’s stand together and demand change.
Thank you for your support!
