Today, on World Water Day, our #H2O4GAZA campaign has reached a monumental milestone, securing over 5,000 signatures from compassionate individuals worldwide who have rallied behind the vital cause of ensuring that the people of Gaza have access to clean, potable water. This achievement comes amid a backdrop of unwarranted and severe attacks by those opposed to our mission who in a way contributed to spreading the word and inadvertently helped the cause they hate . Despite these challenges, the spirit of solidarity and humanity has shone through, illuminating the path towards justice and compassion.
In a significant development, the IDF has commenced repairs on a crucial water pipeline to Gaza that it previously destroyed early in the war. While the direct influence of our campaign on this action remains uncertain, this progress aligns perfectly with our goals. We firmly believe that the importance lies not in claiming credit but in witnessing the realization of our collective aspiration the provision of water to those in need in Gaza.
As we draw this campaign to a close, declaring it a victory for humanity, we extend our deepest gratitude to every single person who lent their voice, especially those who were with us from the very beginning. Your unwavering support and early belief in our cause have been the backbone of this movement. Together, we have demonstrated the formidable power of unity and the relentless pursuit of human rights. To our supporters, your solidarity has been our strength, and this victory belongs to each one of you. Thank you for standing with Gaza, for water, and for humanity.
