- Team Free Sanitary Pads has petitioned Parliament to draft a menstrual health bill.
- This almost a year after the organisation handed a memorandum to the government, and an online petition that had more than 40 000 signatures.
- It wants the bill to provide for paid menstrual leave and that taxes be scrapped for all menstrual sanitary products.
