"Urgent Appeal to Rectify Visa Appointment Issues for Iranian and Afghan Students

"Urgent Appeal to Rectify Visa Appointment Issues for Iranian and Afghan Students
The Issue
Dear Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
We, a group of concerned students, are writing to bring a most pressing issue to your attention. This matter pertains to the academic and professional futures of many Iranian students, and it is of utmost importance that we address it promptly.
We write to inform you that the process for securing visa appointments through the intermediary company has resulted in unfair division of appointment times, causing significant delays and difficulties for students. This has led to slow processing of academic files, resulting in missed university enrollment opportunities for many Iranian students.
We would like to emphasize that as of now, approximately 300 Iranian students hold admission letters from Italian universities but have been unable to secure embassy appointments due to this disorganization. This has not only caused financial strain but has also led to significant psychological distress for these students.
It is our sincere hope that the situation will be rectified promptly, and we urge the Ministry to take action to increase the speed of visa appointments to prevent further harm to the academic and professional aspirations of these students.
In addition to expediting the visa appointment process, we respectfully request that the appointment system be extended until the end of December to accommodate all students in need. Furthermore, we request that everyone who has a PNR code be granted an appointment in a timely manner.
We kindly request that the Ministry prioritize the well-being and academic pursuits of these students and uphold the principles of fairness and equality in the visa appointment process.
We trust that the Ministry will address this situation with the utmost urgency and that the concerns of these students will be resolved promptly.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and we look forward to a positive outcome.
Sincerely,
A group of Iranian students
