We are deeply concerned about reports that Saleh Mohammadi, a 19-year-old wrestler from Qom, Iran, has been sentenced to public execution.

We call on the Iranian authorities to immediately halt any execution and to ensure that Saleh Mohammadi is granted full due process, access to legal representation, and a fair and transparent review of his case in accordance with international human rights standards.

The execution of young people raises serious humanitarian and ethical concerns. Every human life has value, and justice must always be guided by fairness, compassion, and respect for human dignity.

We urge international human rights organizations, governments, and global institutions to advocate for the protection of Saleh Mohammadi’s life and to support peaceful efforts that uphold human rights.
