Urge YouTube to Stop Advertising Inhumane Puppy Mills like Wildwood Doodles LLC

The Issue

Please sign to STOP YouTube's deeply disturbing and monumental misuse of power -- the platform's unconscionable advertisement of puppy mills like Wildwood Doodles LLC.

Puppy mills like Wildwood Doodles LLC force female dogs into painful and unnatural pregnancies, often in dark, barren cages with little to no room to move and with almost no human interaction (love and the comfort of family are practically unknown to these dogs). Once born, puppies are immediately snatched from their mothers before being sold for hundreds of dollars. The immense trauma of separating mothers and pups often leaves lasting marks upon these dogs, who continue to feel anxious, confused, and grief-stricken for the remainder of their little lives.

When female dogs are no longer able to carry puppies, due to poor health or age, they are insensitively deemed "useless" and are often discarded with little chance of survival. This merciless exploitation is the reality for so many dogs, a reality that YouTube feels comfortable manipulating into cute, playful ads aimed at dramatically distracting from reality (a fantasy, in exchange for money, but at what cost?).

Puppy mills are not only a serious injustice against animals. According to the Humane Society of the United States, puppies from mills are more likely to have serious health issues and poor socialisation skills due to immense stress and trauma. YouTube has an immensely global reach with over two billion logged-in monthly users, and absolutely has a responsibility to prevent the senseless promotion of such cruelties. Can we allow YouTube to turn a blind eye when the stakes are so high?

We urge YouTube to end its senseless promotion of puppy mills and to take responsibility for its critical role in advertising immoral businesses made steady atop foundations of cruelty, lies, and corporate greed.

We can make the difference, together, so please, sign our petition today -- animals are counting on it.

Thank you, friends.
