Volvo is a brand hailed for its dedication to safety and respect for human life. It is disheartening to observe its heavy machinery engaging in the destruction of Palestinian people's homes, infrastructure, and sanctuaries under Israeli and West Bank occupation. This contradiction to Volvo's mission tarnishes their reputation and undermines their integrity.

Volvo's equipment has been used extensively to destroy dozens of Palestinian properties. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported in 2019 about 6,100 demolitions of Palestinian structures by Israeli forces, affecting around 9,000 individuals in just a year.  All this occurring even before the current onslaught and violations we are seeing today. 

We insist Volvo to audit its supply chains and take responsibility for how its products are used. Volvo should align with human rights standards and international law; the corporation should not be complicit in activities leading to the displacement, suffering, and inhumane treatment of the Palestinian people.

We call all to sign this petition and urge Volvo to cease all operations in Israel and the occupied West Bank until Israeli policies align with international human rights regulations.
