Mastino Rescue announced they are cutting ties with the USNMC, likely to avoid USNMC cutting ties with them first. However, their statement conveniently left out the real issue: their lack of transparency and refusal to return dogs to reputable breeders, which led to wasted donations, people getting attacked by dogs, and less space for dogs who actually needed it.

Cutting ties with the USNMC doesn’t erase the issues for Mastino Rescue, nor does it hold either one of these organizations accountable. Keep spreading the word—Mastino Rescue and the USNMC need to be held responsible for their unethical decisions.
