Hi Everyone, Firstly thank you so much to everyone who has signed and shared the petition. It is such an incredible thing when this many people come together to fight for our beautiful planet and the wildlife being destroyed by the misuse of plastic. This petition has nearly 100,000 signatures, and soon this will be taken to the supermarkets. However, first we want the supermarkets to have a taste of what people want and to understand that this a problem that has attracted global public interest, is not going away, and requires immediate action on their part. Every few days, I will be posting details of a different supermarket's Facebook group and website/email address with a suggested letter. Please do anything you can to let them know that the public pressure is out there. Post a link to this petition on their Facebook page or email/write to them. For every person who does this, they will be a step closer to realising that elimination of plastic packaging is what their consumer wants and that they need to act.
