The United States has long been a major contributor of financial aid to Gaza, particularly through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). However, there is growing concern that these funds are being misused by Hamas, a group recognized as a terrorist organization by the U.S. Department of State. It's believed that this misuse of funds contributes to acts of violence and terror such as the incident on October 7th.

By continuing to funnel U.S. taxpayer dollars into UNRWA without proper oversight or accountability measures in place, we risk perpetuating a cycle of violence and instability in the region. It's crucial for our nation's leaders - including the President, Congress, and Senate - to reevaluate this funding strategy.

We urge our leaders not only for transparency but also for responsible stewardship of our resources in order not only protect American interests but also promote peace and stability worldwide.
