The Issue

Living in London, I am constantly confronted with adverts featuring Ismail ibn Musa Menk. For me, these advertisements represent an endorsement of a figure who has expressed homophobic views, causing pain to myself and others in the LGBTQ+ community. This person's public expressions, stated in numerous sources, have been labelled as homophobic and discriminatory. The public transportation of London is a place for diversity and unity, and it should not remain as a platform for such views. Using public space to promote figures with divisive perspectives is contrary to the spirit of our city. We need to ensure that our public spaces are free from hate and homophobia. I urge you to reconsider the display of Ismail ibn Musa Menk in an advertising campaign on Transport for London services. By doing this, we can help contribute to a more inclusive and welcoming city. Please sign this petition to voice your support in making our public spaces free of hate speech endorsements.
