This issue is personal to me, as I have witnessed a significant dip in the mental health of numerous people due to the discriminatory and prejudiced content. The relentless racist slurs and jokes have created an unhealthy environment that adversely impacts not just the victims, but also anyone exposed to them.

There's compelling evidence indicating the detrimental effects of racism on mental health. According to a study by the American Psychological Association, racism can lead to symptoms similar to PTSD, severe stress, depression, and anxiety. It's disheartening to see such harmful behavior exacerbated by a platform designed for entertainment and creative expression.

Given TikTok's substantial influence, with over 100 million active users in the U.S. alone according to a report from the Wall Street Journal, urgent action is required globally. We demand that TikTok increase its commitment to combat racism by implementing stricter content policies, advanced monitoring systems, and comprehensive education about racial discrimination. 

By holding users accountable for their actions, TikTok could deter potential offenders and ensure the safety and well-being of all its members.
