The Issue

I have spent significant time observing the horrifying crisis unfold in Syria, carefully tracking and documenting the stark atrocities perpetrated against the Alawite community and other minorities. Over 50,000 innocent civilians have been reported killed since the fall of the Assad regime, marking a painful period of systematic genocide and numerous human rights violations. The rampant violence is not just anecdotal but backed by credible reports, haunting eyewitness accounts, and disturbing evidence - some of which have been boldly documented by the perpetrators themselves.

The suffering of these communities is not just statistics, it's lives ripped apart, families disrupted, and futures abruptly ended. Our global communities and international institutions must not stand by as these atrocities continue unabated. We must step in to stop the violence and protect those who, at this moment, cannot protect themselves.

This petition is a plea to the international community and specifically the United Nations to provide immediate, vital protection for these vulnerable communities in Syria. International intervention can prevent further loss of life and begin a process toward justice and healing. I request your compassion, your humanity, and your signature on this petition to send a strong message to the international community. Your voice can help to offer a beacon of hope to the Alawites and other minorities in Syria who are in most need of international protection. Please, sign this petition and make a difference.
