As a proud Canadian, I am deeply concerned about the current state of diplomatic relations with the United States, particularly due to the American ambassador's behaviour in our country. Recently, there have been numerous instances where the ambassador has acted in a manner that is divisive, disrespectful, and inconsistent with the duties of a foreign ambassador. This is unacceptable and stands in stark contrast to the orderly and respectful manner in which our own ambassador serves in the United States.

The role of an ambassador is pivotal in fostering healthy international relations. An ambassador is expected to act as a bridge between nations, helping to build understanding and cooperation, especially during trying times that demand global solidarity. Sadly, the current American ambassador has failed to fulfill this crucial role, often creating rifts rather than mending them.
