Hello Everyone, 

Well been very busy, I took a break from campaigning yesterday but I received a notification that Olivia Beatty from That's TV Belfast would like to speak to me about the campaign. 

Sinn Fein's Transport Spokesperson Cathal Boylan MLA kindly offered a response based on my email that his party is committed to inclusive and that the DFI Minister Liz Kimmins MLA had asked officials to consider the viability of extending free travel for disabled people but the considerations are ongoing. He also empathises that Stormont is under huge financial pressures. 

While I respect and thank Cathal for his reassurance and for his party stances I would like to kindly remind him with respect that while his party holds the responsibility of Department For Infrastructure I also hold Sinn Fein accountable for what they do with the scheme and while I hope for progress, I would like to publicly urge such an importance of the scheme and I hope for DFI to prioritise this. 

I now am going to change gears on this online petition. I would like to call on everyone to put pressure on the Department for Infrastructure, while the DFI are looking into this important issue. It's important to empathise how vital this scheme is to us to change into free travel and to make life a lot easier for every disabled person. Also it brings a lot of benefits to our society and to the health and wellbeing of disabled people.
