RESULT!!! So very pleased to report we won! The council considered the hump on 5th May and found it to indeed not be as ordered. In fact from the pencilled notes I can confirm it was in fact Illegal! 1080mm high which means it was 80mm higher than the 1999 laws would allow!

I am disappointed to say it won't be resolved before the June 14th annual classic car show, but it will get done. I am meeting with the council representatives on the Thursday to discuss, though I don't believe my time and effort are needed nor will I be able to conduct a proper and meaningful conversation in the thunderstorms predicted. However I will see it through and ensure that the council hold the contractors to account.
