This response from Liz echoes the freedom of information result, any speed hump that is under 75cm, and doesn't cause a difficulty for a few minorities, is not going to slow traffic according to Liz!

"Thank you for your email.  The whole purpose of these measures is to slow cars down.  If the hump were to be lowered, that would encourage speeding, which the residents of Churchill are clear they want to discourage.

While I accept that it is a slightly longer journey, there are other routes to Chipping Norton which avoid this speed hump if drivers feel that they need to do that." 

Why is our council ignoring that there are so many who have signed this petition?
