Petition updateUrge the council to consult on Churchill road hump removalFreedom of Information request

On the back of the FOI coming back detailing that the council a) consulted with disabled user groups and b) acknowledged that only the 'majority' of vehicles could traverse the hump, c)that low clearance vehicles would struggle, d)failed to put up signs to warn of damage to low clearance vehicles, and e) stated that any other solution that allowed ALL users to traverse the hump would be ineffective to control speed.....

I have emailed Liz with the update and pushed for action to happen as this FOI basically states that any other type of hump ie those outside Chipping Norton Co-Op would be ineffective to control speed ..... So why do we have them at all?

I've contacted three disabled user groups in Oxfordshire and none to date have any recollection of being invited to comment, so to ascertain exactly which disabled user groups (as they could have, inappropriately, asked a national one), they did contact and I can then ask why, and what.

Why two requests? By sending it as two it can speed up the results of the first and I maybe able to get that information faster contacting those groups individually. And to speed up the process asking the questions I will have when they respond to the first question, I effectively get the response faster and don't have to wait 20 days between requests.

I hope to have some news for you all soon.
