Urge the City of Wilmington to Restore Support for the Public Access Channel

Urge the City of Wilmington to Restore Support for the Public Access Channel
The Issue
The local public access channel plays an essential role in Wilmington, providing our community with local news, important updates, and diverse programming. However, without appropriate funding, it's getting harder to maintain and improve this valuable resource. Public Access Channels, like ours, have been shown as one of the vehicles for promoting local economic growth, civic engagement, and media literacy (source: Federation of Local Public Access Channels). The City of Wilmington should, therefore, support the growth and development of our Public Access Channel by allocating funds towards it. By doing so, the City of Wilmington will help ensure our community continues to have access to vital local content and contribute toward fostering informed and engaged citizens. Sign the petition and let's request the City of Wilmington to increase funding for the public access channel.
