I am deeply moved by the plight of Ukrainians who are currently facing a dire situation. Their air defences against Russian missiles and loitering munitions are depleted. The defenders on the front have run out of ammunition, putting their homes, families, freedom, and lives at risk.

The Canadian Government has 12 C-RAM retired air defence systems and 83,000 CRV7 rocket systems scheduled for disposal. These could be a lifeline for Ukraine at this critical time. The donation of these systems would significantly bolster Ukraine's defences and provide much-needed support to those bravely fighting on the front lines.

Canada has always been a strong advocate for peace and justice worldwide. This action would align with our national values while providing tangible aid to those desperately in need.

We urge you not only as citizens but as fellow human beings who believe in the sanctity of life and liberty - let us not stand by while others fight alone. Let's help them protect their homes, their families, their freedom, and their lives.
