The story begins with numerous aspiring law candidates, including me, who were preparing to sit for the February 2025 California State bar exam. We have faced a host of challenges due to the recent switch from physical to an online remote platform, which was poorly implemented. The distress, financial burden and loss of precious study time resulting from this shift have been overwhelming.

The California State Bar's shift to an online platform has not been smooth or considerate. There have been numerous instances of miscommunication, contradictions, testing location changes, unacceptable accommodation denials, and instruction changes, etc. The lack of a well-planned and organized move to a new platform has gravely affected us and our preparations for the bar exam. 

Keeping in mind that all candidates are entitled to a fair chance at passing the bar exam, we urge the California State Bar to delay the February 2025 bar exam. This suggestion isn't without precedence. The October 2020 administration of the exam was moved remote, and given the current situation, we believe a similar solution is necessary and justified.

The potential lawyers of tomorrow demand justice, not just for society, but also for themselves. We plead with the California State Bar to consider our situation and act in a manner that upholds the professional responsibility it stands for.
