As Business owners and local residents of Mona Vale, we've watched the exchange building in Bungan Lane deteriorate and become an eyesore. It's become a symbol of disregard for our community and property values, attracting unwanted attention and potential criminal elements. Moreover, the state of the building also poses a serious safety risk to our residents and visitors alike. 

Our repeated attempts to bring these concerns to Telstra's attention have so far been dismissed. However, we won't stand by silently. Telstra and the NBN need to promptly clean up and maintain the facility not just for aesthetics, but also for our collective safety, community pride, and harmony. Imagine the potential improvement to our neighbourhood's image once this issue is rectified. Our pleas aren't just about a building; they're about our community, our homes, and our quality of life.

Further neglect could potentially cause a decrease in property values (National Association of Home Builders, 2018) and attract crime (Broken Windows Theory, Wilson and Kelling, 1982). We demand that Telstra and the NBN take immediate action to address our concerns.
