Thanks to everyone who’s continued signing and sharing this petition. Even after Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link was cancelled, your support shows there’s still a passionate community that wants its story preserved. There have been some interesting developments as of late.

Square Enix’s recent decisions offer us hope. They are reimagining mobile games for modern platforms, like Octopath Traveller 0, a reworked version of Champions of the Continent, and Final Fantasy Resonance, a full premium RPG reimagining Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

However, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link’s revival or remake isn’t guaranteed. Square Enix has not announced any plans, but these projects show they’re willing to revisit mobile-exclusive stories in new formats when it makes sense.

Our petition isn’t about demanding the game be finished as planned. It’s about ensuring an important chapter of the Kingdom Hearts saga isn’t lost. Whether it’s a PC/console game, a movie, or another format, we want the narrative to remain part of the KH-series history.

As we see more examples of Square Enix keeping stories that were once only on mobile devices, it’s becoming more and more important that we don’t let Missing-Link become lost media.
