Despite the character's beloved status and the rich comic book world from which they come, there seems to be a consistency in how these films fail to fully satisfy fans.

According to Variety, Spider-Man has always been one of Marvel's most beloved and relatable superheroes; this is largely due to the efforts of Disney's Marvel Studios in recent years. With characters like Iron Man, Captain America, and the rest of the Avengers, they've shown us the true potential of these stories. It's no secret that Sony's handling of Spider-Man has not lived up to this high standard.

So, what's to be done? It's our hope, and the hope of many, to see Sony sell the rights of Spider-Man and all related characters back to Disney's Marvel Studios.
