We are at a crucial juncture in history where the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) can bring about the transformative change that generations of women have fought for. The ERA, which would amend the U.S. Constitution to explicitly guarantee equal rights regardless of sex, is embodied in Senate Joint Resolution 38 (SJ Res 38).
