Like many Rivian enthusiasts, I admire their innovative trucks and SUVs. However, I strongly believe that there needs to be a change in the design of their rear lights. Rivian's existing rear light design doubles the brake lights as turn indicators, a design element which I find disconcerting. 

Amber turn indicators have been proven by several studies to provide a safer choice for automobile lighting, due to the distinctive color making the signals more visible to other drivers. This not only reduces the chance of rear-end collisions, but it also reinforces road safety as a whole.

It is not a matter of personal preference but safety. By separating brake lights from amber turn indicators, Rivian can contribute to enhancing road safety, keeping their customers and other road users safe.

We appeal to CEO RJ Scaringe to recognize the significance of this change and to consider implementing it in future designs. The love for Rivian vehicles extends beyond aesthetic preferences; it's about promoting a safer driving environment for everyone.
