Like many in our community, I was frustrated and felt slighted when Netflix and Riot Games chose to cut some of the most moving and potent content from the animated show 'Arcane' involving characters Jinx and Ekko. The public disappointment was palpable, as audiences were treated to a lengthy Cait/Vi scene, while the impactful moments between Ekko and Jinx were left on the cutting room floor. The outcry for the release of this content has been resounding. It's hard to deny that such vital scenes would not only enrich the narrative but also underscore the bonds between characters we have grown to adore. There is significant value in these omitted sequences, either in their original form or repurposed into a standalone comic. The latter would provide a unique opportunity for audiences to explore what happened in those tantalizing and unknown moments after Ekko rescued Jinx. The strength of fan response shows a demand that cannot be ignored. Let us stand together and insist that Riot Games and Netflix listen to their fans - to us - by releasing this poignant content.
