In the UK, 50% of parents are scared to let their children go out around London due to the fear of knife crime. It's time we address this issue by raising awareness among influential figures in youth culture. A staggering 64% of young people believe that rappers have an influence on making gang life seem appealing. We need a few brave rappers to come forward and tell young people that gangs are not worth joining—the average life expectancy of a gang member is just 20-30 years old.
